Lash Care

Why lash care is so important:

Maintaining the beauty and longevity of your lash extensions is crucial, and a touch of tender loving care can make a world of difference. Each lash treatment is tailored to your individual needs. While the frequency of necessary touch-ups may vary due to lifestyle factors, we advise scheduling an appointment every 2-3 weeks to ensure your lashes remain stunning, vibrant, and voluminous. After 30 days, a full set of lashes will be required by your Lash Technician to maintain your desired look.

What to do BEFORE and AFTER your lash appointment:

BEFORE

  1. Remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes

    • To clean your lashes, use a mild, oil free cleanser. Do not use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes prior to the application because it can make it harder to apply the extensions and interfere with the adhesive curing process.

  2. Shower and exercise before appointment

    • This is ideal because you will need to keep your lash extensions dry for 24 hours after the application.

  3. Remove contact lenses

    • Please remove your contact lenses before your appointment and wear glasses to your appointment or bring a lens case and remove them when you arrive.

  4. Plan ahead

    • Make sure you set aside 1.5-2 hours for your full set appointment. Feel free to bring headphones to listen to your favorite music, podcasts, audio books or relax and take a much needed lash nap!

AFTER

  1. Keep your lashes dry for 24 hours after the service

    • We want your lashes to stick for as long as possible so try not to shower, don’t do a workout that makes you sweat on your face, no swimming, saunas or steam rooms. (We recommend not using a sauna or steam room for 48 hours.)

  2. Avoid rubbing your eyes

    • We strongly encourage you to not rub your eyes after your appointment because this may cause your extensions to fall out quicker.

  3. DO NOT’s

    • Do NOT use oil or cream based cleansers

    • Do NOT use an eyelash curler

    • Do NOT use mascara, cream or gel eyeliners

  4. DO’s

    • DO use a water based makeup remover

    • DO brush your lashes 2x daily

    • DO clean your lashes daily with a foaming lash cleanser to remove any facial oil, makeup residue and dirt

    • DO sleep on your back if possible or use a silk pillowcase for those who sleep on their side and face

  5. To maintain the fullness of your lashes, schedule a refill every 2-3 weeks!
